Dreamstar is where the story really begins.  She is her parents' only kit, so not only is she very spoiled, but has inherited the good and bad qualities of both.  A beautiful, sun-colored she-cat, she wins the hearts of both the ThunderClan tom Robinpelt, and the ShadowClan warrior, Windstar, who is also in the prophecy.  However, she chooses Windstar over her Clan loyalty, and in Invasion, bears his kits.  She is brave and smart, willing to risk anything to get what she wants.

Dreamstar is the Sun in Sun and Snow.  She, as StarClan would put it 'lights the path of Snow with love and courage'.  Her major points so far are killing Blackstar, falling in love with Windstar, having her kits, helping to kill Robinpelt... and, of course, succeeding Firestar as leader of ThunderClan.
